In addition to the base i20, Hyundai will also show special variant of the new i20 compact called the i20 i-Blue. The i-Blue sub-brand will feature extra fuel efficient and eco-friendly variants of European-market Hyundais to distinguish them from their siblings. The i20 i-Blue concept offers a handful of small, low-cost improvements designed to reduce CO2 emissions and improve fuel economy, including changes to the front and rear aerodynamics, low rolling resistance tires, a 15mm reduction in ride height, and a new 1.4L CRDi diesel producing approximately 89-hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. Combined, these changes help the gas-sipping concept achieve an estimated 57 mpg, according to Hyundai. With the popularity of diesels in Europe, the i20 i-Blue is expected to do well
